09.28.10 : Major Tour Update!

Check out the SHOWS page for the absolute-latest list of confirmed shows, TBAs, cities and dates! This is shaping up to be an intense two months of shows with very few days off! Maybe you can help book a show so that we have ZERO DAYS OFF! Ready, set, go!

In Bummer Central news: I took the new car in to the mechanic today to get a few things looked at and fixed with my tiny (itsy bitsy) budget, and I ended up with a quote for over $4,000 in necessary repairs! I spent seven hours there with the very nice people who run the place, trying to figure out what the hell I was going to do. Finally, we narrowed it down to the bare minimum and some careful bartering and I just have to scrape together $1,800 to get the car to a point where it won’t snap in half or start on fire in the first week of the tour. HOORAY, right?! Oh well… Such is the life of a penniless musician (otherwise known as an idiot? I wonder, sometimes). This is why I do things like Tour Fundraisers, to raise money for the unforeseen, nightmarish days like this one.

Help me afford the car repairs by donating to the tour fundraiser, and get some rad limited edition stuff in return!

In Super Stoked news: I leave for tour in four-ish days, and now that I’m “in the weeds” as they say, I’m desperate for this week and all of its stressfulness to be over, so that all I have to worry about is getting to the next show, meeting new people, playing music that I love, and experiencing Life in the best and most insane way I know how.

RSVP to your local tour date so I can see who I’ll be hangin’ with on the road!

Love,
Sarah
